Pochettino’s wait for a major trophy goes on

The crushing loss leaves Pochettino without a trophy to show for his five years at Tottenham, or indeed his entire managerial career.But Mourinho, working as a pundit alongside former adversary Arsene Wenger, insists Spurs fans should be proud of their manager.“That’s the drama of football and sometimes it’s not fair. Mauricio has had four very good years at Spurs, brings them to the final for the Champions League, and he’s still waiting for the first trophy of his career,” the former Manchester United boss told beIN Sports. “I feel very sorry for Mauricio but I think the English supporter is very loyal and they know when people give everything. They are a bit different than in other countries when everything is just about winning.“I think the Tottenham fans are proud of their team. We were very unlucky, you see the goal from the penalty,” he told BT Sport.“We played so well in the second half.
